The Congregation of the Carmelite Religious, who’s Mother House is at Holy Angels’, Trivandrum was founded by Mother Mary Teresa Veronica of the Passion on 16th July 1868, at Bayonne, France.

The aim of the Congregation is to spread the Gospel message through education and other works of mercy.  Accordingly they have schools and colleges, boarding houses, orphanages, hostels social centresand homes for the aged.  The Congregation extends its service according to the needs of the local and Universal Church.
